I have spent years in Sarawak’s tourism industry, with extensive experience in travel management, destination development, and industry representation. As Managing Director of CPH Travel Agencies Sdn Bhd, I lead the company with a clear vision of delivering premium inbound and incentive travel experiences rooted in authenticity and excellence. As Chairman of the MATTA Sarawak Chapter, I play a key role in shaping industry direction and strengthening collaboration between stakeholders, government bodies, and international partners. My leadership focuses on innovation, strong advocacy for Sarawak tourism, and high-value segments such as corporate and incentive travel.

Augustine Tay of Tay Travel Service Sdn Bhd leads one of Kota Kinabalu’s long-standing and trusted travel brands. Established in 1960 as a travel agent for both outbound and inbound services, the company evolved in the 1970s into a fully licensed operator managing government travel and ticketing. Of Sino-Kadazan heritage, Augustine has guided the company’s transition into a formidable destination management company, handling groups ranging from 15 to 800 participants. Today, Tay Travel operates with a team of 20 staff and a fleet of 15 vehicles, continuing to deliver reliable, large-scale travel solutions from its base in Kota Kinabalu.
